Top Paid Budgeting Apps

Now that we’ve gone over all the best free budgeting apps in the world of technology, it is now time to look at the paid ones. The great thing about most of these paid apps, however, is that most of them come with some type of free version. As with the free apps, these ones are available for download on all iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Keep your finances in check with these paid apps, from least to most expensive.

BUDGT

Cost: $2.79 CAN

If you’re looking for a more simplistic style of app, BUDGT will be the perfect fit for you. This application informs you of the amount of money you are allowed to spend each day, and simply subtracts all pending purchases from this total as the day goes on. At the end of each month, a projection is automatically created to see exactly how you’re coming along.

HomeBudget with Sync

Cost: $6.99 CAN

This app helps track all your expenses and provides an in-depth analysis (including graphs and charts) which inform you about your spending behaviors. Additionally, this app integrates with all your bills so that each bill automatically becomes an expense and adjusts your account balance when you pay it. There is also a Family Sync feature, which is great if you want to monitor the spending habits of the whole family in one place.

The beauty of this app is that it is available for download on desktop versions (Windows, Mac OS) as well as mobile.

However, if you’re not 100% convinced that this app is the right fit for you or if you have a smaller array of expense entries, there is a Home Budget Lite version that you can download for free. This version is limited to 20 expense entries and 10 income entries.

Goodbudget Budget Planner

Cost: Free for one bank account; $40/year for more than one

If you’re an individual who enjoys to be more in control of their finances, this app is the one you are looking for. Unlike the majority of budgeting apps on the market, this one allows you to manually input all your financial information so you don’t have to rely on automatic syncing technology. What’s also great about it is that you can share the app with another person so that you can create this budget together.
